Mystika Nocha
Sunlight glimmers faintly through the arcing leaded windows of the
ancient stone chapel. Rows of pews glow with a quiet peaceful warmth,
the fine grained woods smoothed by countless generations of worshippers.
Pink and red roses petals are strewn along the length of the aisle,
draping the chapel in luxurious smells and scents. The altar is draped
in creamy linen, and holds a pewter vase containing elegant lilies of
the palest white. High on one wall is a bas relief of a darkened figure
cast into shadow, a paler figure enfolded within his arms securely, as
his fiery steed rears, eyes blazing in the soft light.

box, connecting in the center to a heavier silver necklace. Translucent
cylinders form slender bars which hold the top and bottom of the cube in an
endless embrace. A red mist floats insubstantially within the cube,
never drifting between the bars but perpetually contained.

King's Hall
A fire rages in the carved marble hearth, embers spitting out occasionally
to bounce onto the slate floors. Mahoghany beams run the length of the hall
overhead, and a fragile bat uses one as a roost,its ears twitching at random
noises as it grooms itself, thin white fangs barely visible in the gloom of
the rafters. Near the fireplace, leather armchairs are pulled up, and grey
muzzled wolfhounds doze happily in the heat, thumping their tails in pleasure.
A long table decorated with gargoyles runs along one wall, bowls laden with
fruits and meats, along with goblets of elegant silver rest on a sideboard
nearby. On the dais at the far end, a canopy of tapestried silk covers an
engraved throne. Plush pillows of saffron and red lie on the floor and a
crystal decantor filled with a dark substance sits on a delicate gold
inlaid side table, accompanied by a matching fluted glass.
