Conversation with God

Rudolph, Virgil and Strider

Virgil examines Rudolph closely.
Rudolph rubs his chin and stares at Virgil, pondering about him.
Virgil smirks at Rudolph.
Virgil says to Rudolph, 'I do say you waste your time pondering about me,
many have wasted the long years of their lives doing so'
Rudolph says to Virgil, 'in the meantime, peel me some grapes.'
Rudolph says 'I'm God, I have time.'
Virgil says 'even God's time is limited, I expect.'
Rudolph says 'endless really.'
Rudolp says 'years seem like minutes'
Rudolph makes a waving motion with his hand. Etc., etc.
Virgil says 'tell me then god, what laws govern this world?'
Rudolph says 'Me'
Virgil says 'why such uncertainty amoung it's future?'
Rudolph says 'repeat the question, only in phoenician this time.'
Virgil says 'how can you create a world of which the future is hidden from
us?'
Virgil says 'how can you create a world of which the future is hidden from
us?'
Rudolph says 'your mortal brain can not comprehend it.'
Virgil grins.
Rudolph says 'although it envolves folding the fabrics of time'
Rudolph says 'weaving in the magickal writings'
Rudolph says 'blending together the edges of reality'
Virgil says 'how many dimensions exist in this world? surely the four we can
observe, but how many more are curled up and hidden from us?'
Virgil says 'and what part do they play in our ability to understand our
existance?'
Rudolph says 'only time shall tell my dead little corpse, only time shall
tell.'
Virgil says 'How cruel, only upon our return to nothingness shall we know
all of which we desired in life. Are we nothing but pawns in a twisted game
to you?'
Rudolph nods at Virgil in agreement.
Rudolph says 'something like that.'
Rudolph says 'the players who move across the stage I have layed out before
you.'
Virgil says 'There is then, only one reality? How is it this can be if we
are not able to predict it?'
Rudolph says 'many have pondered that very question, and have come to the
conclusion that although a path is laid out before you, you can control it's
direction.'
Virgil says 'What if I refuse to believe in such a fate? Will the refusal
itself be an irony from which I cannot escape?'
Rudolph thinks for a minute.
You say 'perhaps'
Virgil grins.
Virgil says 'Perhaps then, I will'
Rudolph says 'Then would you not be controling the said path of which you do
not believe in?'
Virgil says 'If perhaps my own mind was a cage for my soul, then what
difference would my life make?'
Rudolph says 'But are you not already dead?'
Virgil says 'if what you are saying is true, than perhaps I am'
Virgil says 'Do you play dice, my good creator?'
Virgil grins.
Rudolph says 'I have no time nor need for games of chance for I shall always
win.'
Virgil grins.
Virgil says 'then Einstein was right'
Virgil bows before you.
Virgil says 'A sheath of our present has been pulled over the eyes of our
future'
Virgil says 'smart fellow, had a wierd haircut'
Virgil grins at you!
Rudolph rubs his chin and ponders about Virgil.
Rudolph says 'I have breathed life into no such person.'
Strider says to Rudolph, 'not much to look at?'
Strider points at Virgil.
Rudolph says to Strider, 'I look upon death.'
Strider says to Rudolph, 'death...?? virgil... hehehe'
Strider winks at Rudolph.
Rudolph says to Strider, 'Virgil is not death, Death has become him.'
Virgil says 'you can kill a body, but never a spirit'
Strider says to Rudolph, 'he is harmless'
Virgil says 'I am free now'
Virgil says 'not dead'
Strider makes a flying leap at Virgil, and tackles him to the ground.
Strider says 'not from my grasp'
Rudolph says 'But did you not embrace the darkness? You are very much an
animated shell.'
Virgil says 'for now'
Rudolph raises his eyebrow at Virgil.
Virgil says 'I lived once as a slave to his will, but I chose defiance, and
for it, I am hunted'
Virgil points at Rudolph.
Strider says 'to point at a god means death.. wait your dead alrdy .. Carry
on!'
Rudolph says 'You choose to be the hunted then. For as I see it, you are the
hunter.'
Virgil says 'Minions of the lord will come for me, whether provoked or not.
I was once under his grace but he has sicked his own kind on me now.'
Strider says to Virgil, 'consider it a test of your will'
Virgil says 'I've lived now long enough to know the truth'
Virgil says '3 lifetimes or mortal men have I walked this world...'
Virgil says 'perhaps when given that chance I should have left this place'
Virgil says 'but I choose to stay and fight'
Rudolph says 'Then you are very much the hunter, not the hunted.'
Virgil says 'There is little talk left. All now needing to be said, we pass
on the battlefield.'
Virgil says to Rudolph, 'Good day my maker, I hope one day to see you in
hell'
Virgil grins at Rudolph with mischief in his eyes!
Virgil says 'perhaps it will then be my kind that control's their own fate'
Virgil bows gracefully.
